My week on Instagram-Week 4 is my version of (almost) Wordless Wednesdays-a weekly compilation of pictures portraying my day to day life and my culinary creations, all on Instagram.
Vegan dinner #1: Coconut-curried brown rice and lentils (featured in my Baby Bites cookbook)
Vegan dinner #2: Chickpea, spinach and tomato stew (also featured in my Baby Bites cookbook)
My morning regime; pure argan oil, Soleil perfume from Fragonard, and my new fave all-natural toothpaste Clay Brite!
Craft time!
Enjoying the crisp autumn air…
My new “baby!”
Homemade pumpkin coconut granola
Pasta for the family; a few simple ingredients (extra virgin olive oil, capers, and tuna) but a ton of flavour!
A family fave; Sauteed cod and pancetta with a side of roasted sweet potato and caramelized onions and grilled asparagus
Bites for Babies has started a new venture…we’re selling healthy, homemade larabars! Here’s a batch of pumpkin coconut larabars…
Congrats on the new camera! Looks like you had a fun busy week!
Thank you, I did!
I’ve got to stop looking at food recipes so early in the morning! These all look like yummy creations!
Wow you definitely had a great week! The food really draws in my attention! I love it, very pretty photos as well!
Thank you! I’m thinking I need a new phone though…my instagram pics aren’t nearly as nice as the pics taken with my camera! 😉
Oh my gosh, the granola looks AMAZING! I need to see more of your recipes!

I am sure you have had a great week on Instagram. Such wonderful pictures. Particularly, these vegan dinners are looking so yummy & delicious. The pictures makes me so hungry already.
You’ve been busy in the kitchen for sure, that coconut granola looks good! I do a similar thing on my blog called “My life via instagram” once a week on Wednesdays that I combine with Wordless Wednesday. My linky is still open, you should stop by and link up one of your pictures!
A new take on ‘Wordless Wednesday’ right?! 😉 I need to keep up with it though! It’s such an easy post because they are so few words! I’ll hop on over to the link up now! Thanks!
Beautiful instagram photos! I love recaps like this because then, I can see them all at once. That granola looks fantastic!
That looks like an amazing camera. All those food pictures are making me hungry too.
It is! It’s just a little overwhelming, lol! I’m thinking of taking a beginner photography course to familiarize myself a little better with all the options!
There are also so many tutorials online that you will get it in no time
I love this idea! What a great roundup. It definitely is a great peek into your daily life 🙂 I love the “crisp autumn air” photo! Very beautiful. & congrats on your new “baby” hehehe
I’ve done a few of these posts…but not recently! I need to get back into it!
Omg all the food pictures look so yummy I’m now hungry hehe 😉 loving the camera too!!!
Thanks…that’s what I’m aiming for 😉
oh the food looks so yummy, i love using instagram to share all the food pictures. It has become a tradition now
That Coconut-curried brown rice and lentils looks so YUMMY! Congrats on your new ‘baby!’ Nothing better than a new DSLR <3
I definitely treat it like a baby, lol!
Your instagram posts made me really hungry. You had a lot of excellent food this week.
Thanks! I try to keep updated on the meals I’m preparing for my family…it’s a good way to remember my impromptu recipes as well!
I MUST make that brown rice and lentils. That picture had me drooling! YUM, I can’t wait to make it, I think the kids will love it!
They are so fun to eat…the kids will love them (as long as they like lentils, lol!). I also have a recipe for traditional arancini; http://www.bitesforbabies.com/blog/its-arancini-time/ and quinoa arancini http://www.bitesforbabies.com/recipes/pesto-prosciutto-and-mozzarella-stuffed-quinoa-arancini/
Those granola bars look so yummy!
I know!! Me too! It’s my favourite social platform. Unfortunately, although I get many “likes” it I don’t get much traffic to the Blog using it!
I am totally obsessed with Instagram. It went from an app that I hardly used, to one that I can’t stop using.
Vegan Dinner #2 looks delicious and your new ‘baby’ is adorable. 🙂 I love my Canon.
All the food looks so delicious, Lisa! Could you share the recipe for Sauteed cod and pancetta? We are trying to have one fish day per week. I am recycling over my fish recipes from baked fish sticks to grilled fish…would love to add new tested fish recipe. 🙂
Thanks! I don’t have an exact recipe but it’s pretty simple to make. Just saute the pancetta until light pink then remove from the frying pan. Add some butter, extra virgin olive oil, then the fish and chopped capers. Saute the fish until flaky. Add in the pancetta for the last minute or two to combine the flavours….and DONE! 😉
Fantastic and congrats on the camera!!! Love all the deliciousness and the messy art too. 🙂
Thanks! I’m in love, lol!
Instagram is freaking addictive!!! Your ‘new baby’ is gorgeous. 🙂
It totally is!! I’m still trying to figure out how long you need to be on Instagram before you can get to likes in the thousands…mine creep up every day but very slowly!
