In the blogging world, Wordless Wednesday is basically a post (posted on a Wednesday obviously) with ONLY pictures…NO WORDS.
Anyone who knows me knows that this is, well, impossible! (Proof in this Blog post right here!). I’ll keep it short and sweet though!
We’ve been in Italy for four months now and our vacation is coming to an end. As always, I find myself reminiscing about our time here. One of the things that I always miss so dearly (which I hardly post about) is the undeniable beauty of the place we call home during the summer months.
To pay tribute to it, here is my habitual morning walk in PICTURES (NO WORDS!):
Ok, just four words…mutant prickly pear plant!
It does look lovely. The cow looks like he was posing for you. 🙂
I know, lol! And it’s absolutely stunning there…I don’t even think the pictures do it justice!
You lived in Italy for four months? That is so awesome! I would love to live in different countries around the world for a short period of time. I would love to learn and share in the different cultures…and not to mention the once in a lifetime opportunities. That is my dream. 🙂
Four years! It would be my dream to live in a different country every year…just not feasible with a hubby and two kids! lol!
Wow. It’s simply gorgeous. Do you go to Italy every summer? That is amazing. Can’t even imagine the memories you’re making and the things being built into your lives as a result of that.
Isn’t it? Yes, we do go every summer…my dad’s family lives there and my husband is from there so obviously his entire family is in Sardinia. It was in fact amazing to see our son running about, learning about country life, etc. Our children will get the best of both worlds growing up-living in the city and spending their summers in the countryside 😉
Your photos are stunning! Have you tried ficus indica?
Nope! Can’t do it…I don’t like them at all! What a shame…they grow like crazy here. I remember my dad used to eat them all the time (in Canada) while I was growing up. I tried and tried to like them but with no luck! I DO love blackberries! It’s amazing how many plants there are here but there isn’t even the culture to go out and pick them??!!!
