Wow, that’s great Jody! You can definitely freeze them although be mindful that since they don’t contain flour they might be somewhat spongy when thawed. I suggest freezing one to see how you like it once defrosted. Thanks for much for the feedback, and I’m so happy everyone loved them! 😉 P.S. You might want to also try our vegan spinach brownies and healthy date brownies!

Exactly! I tell me kids what’s in them-which means I’m technically NOT being sneaky!!! If they don’t see them they will eat them..even if they know it’s there!

Makes perfect sense…I always confuse the two, lol! I used yams…but I’ve used sweet potatoes in similar recipes. I’d say the yams tend to be a bit sweeter in dessert recipes. What do you think? You seem to be more of an expert than me! 😉

Pumpkins are delicious too, although they tend to be more watery than sweet potatoes, which can change the texture and consistency somewhat.

I live in California and here we have sweet potatoes and yams. Sweet potatoes have are pale yellow inside and starchier. Yams are orange inside and are creamier/stickier. I know that in parts of the country, when they refer to sweet potatoes they are talking about what we call yams. It can get very confusing! Which are you referring to for this recipe? Thanks!
