Overnight oats are all the rage in my home these days. My kids can’t get enough of them and I can’t get enough of the fact they are are so easy and so quick to prepare!
Chocolate chip overnight oats are just as healthy as fruit-based oats yet still as decadent and rich as anything with chocolate in it should be! They’re 100% vegan and gluten-free, made with coconut milk, gluten-free oats, bittersweet cocoa powder, and naturally sweetened with organic maple syrup.
Overnight oats are foolproof; they are 100% raw and can be prepared in under 5 minutes. Prepare them in the evening and set in the fridge overnight to thicken, and enjoy a stress-free breakfast in the morning.
Although my kids love my peanut butter banana, pumpkin pie, and blueberry mango overnight oats, these chocolate chip overnight oats have undoubtedly become their favourite!
I have not tried over night oats before. This sounds delicious and like a recipe that my kids would like.
I love overnight oats! They’re the best make ahead breakfast of all time. I am more into fruit versions, though.
I am too but I wanted to give the kids a little treat 😉
That looks so good. I will have to make this soon for me and my kids.
Please let me know when you do…I’d love feedback 😉
This looks delicious! But I love everything that has chocolate in it 🙂 And it’s simple to make. That’s my kind of recipe 🙂
This looks and sounds really good. I am going to have to try this recipe for sure. We all love oatmeal here. Thanks for sharing.
I’m sure the whole family will love it!
I love oatmeal. I’ve done crockpot , brownie batters and so many other ways. I have only done overnight oats in a peanut butter jar as to not waste the PB still hiding in the cracks.
Crockpot? Never heard of that one! I love the idea of making the oats directly in the peanut butter jar….but I always forget and end up throwing it out!
This is the second time I’ve/seen heard of these but I haven’t tried them yet. They look fantastic!
Now that you’ve been hearing about them more you’re going to see recipes for them left and right!
Wow that is so awesome that it only takes 5 minutes to prepare. Looks so yummy!
Yes, literally! Just combine and let sit in the fridge. It doesn’t get any easier than that!
I have never tried overnight oats before. I think my kids would really enjoy this so I am going to give it a try. Thanks for sharing.
This is the only way I will eat oatmeal! My favorite is Pina Coloda overnight oats with chunks of pineapple and shredded toasted coconut.
Yum! I’ve made something similar with mango as well! I’ve made so many fruity overnight oats in the past so I now feel it’s time to up the decadent factor, lol!
I really hope this tastes half as yummy as it looks. I’m adding it to my recipe book right away.
That’s a lot of pressure, lol! I do hope you enjoy it 😉
Yum! I need to make this for my son. He’s a fan of oatmeal and he LOVES chocolate.
It seems even more decadent when you heat it and the chocolate chips melt into a gooey chocolatey mess, lol!
Love this recipe!! Oatmeal is one of my favorite breakfast foods so I will put this together tonight to try tomorrow morning. How do you heat it up if you want it warm? Just microwave it or does it need to be heated in the oven?
Just heat it in the microwave! If it becomes too clumpy you can just add a few tablespoons of milk to thin it out!
I’m not an oatmeal fan in the slightest but that does look absolutely delicious. Of course, I’m in the mindset that chocolate makes almost everything better.
Chocolate does make everything better!! I never was an oatmeal fan but the more I make it for the kids, the more I’m starting to enjoy it more!
Overnight oats are such a great idea. Quite a time-saver in the morning!
It definitely is!
Omg don’t mind me over here drooling over my computer 😉 this looks absolutely delicious!!!
Thanks!! I’m really trying to improve my food photography skills 😉
I hate chocolate and don’t eat oats, but I’d almost want to make this just because it looks so pretty to photograph!
Wait a minute…you ‘hate’ chocolate??! I’ve never heard that before!
Well Good Morning to you too! That sounds incredible. It would have been so nice to wake up to hot food ready to eat this week. If i could have a do over on the week I would take it but this chocolatey peanut butter goodness would make it all better!
This recipe would be great for you then! Prepare in the evening and the morning you’ll have breakfast ready and waiting for you 😉
This looks great tasting and easy to make! I’ll have to make sure to pick up some rolled oats next time I’m grocery shopping so that I can give this a try with my daughter!
I think you’ll love them!
I’m a total chocolate addict, these chocolate chip overnight oats look delicious.
These sound good to me. I’d love to try those peanut butter banana oats too!
You should try all of them, or just whip up some flavour combos on your own…they’re so easy to make!
Wow, this looks divine! I wouldn’t mind this for breakfast, I’m sure my toddler will eat it too.
Thanks! It would be such a stress-free breakfast for you both 😉
I need to try this! I love overnight oats, it’s just too easy. 🙂
Wow…easy peasy! We haven’t had oats in years and I was just thinking recently about trying them again
Perfect timing! You really should try overnight oats!
I am a big fan of oats, have them for breakfast every morning; this recipe sounds super yummy!
Have you tried making overnight oats before? They’ll save you so much time in the morning!!
This looks super tasty! My husband is a chocolate fanatic, so I bet he would love this!
I totally have to try this! It’s one of the few things I can eat and no be allergic too!
Great for me…not for you, lol! What are you allergic to??
I love oats! This recipe looks really good. My daughters don’t really like oats, but maybe something like this would get them to eat them.
I used to make my kids cooked oats when they were babies but I find that these raw oats have more flavour and texture than the cooked ones!
I would definitely try something like this but my kids don’t like oats. So I would just make a small portion for me./leira
I’ve had a ton of moms message me that they actually make these for themselves! Why not?!
I love anything oats. I could eat this for breakfast over and over again probably.
It’s great for breakfast, as a mid-morning or afternoon snack…I’ve even had it for dinner, lol!
My hubby loves oats and I know this would go over big because of the chocolate chips I need to make this for him.
You can make it as decadent as you want by adding more cocoa powder and chocolate chips!
