They have a very pleasant taste, not too sweet. The problem I have is they do not hold together! Trying to cut them 2 hours after they were taken from the oven they fall apart and will not hold together! Can you give me some pointers as to why this could happen!??

Thanks for the feedback Jody…and I’m so glad they’re a hit with the entire family!

My whole family loves them (and they are picky eaters). It is a very quick and easy thing to give them on a busy morning when we are trying to get out of the house as quick as possible OR a healthy snack after school before dinner. I double the recipe and freeze them

I’m not sure about the exact number of calories but they’re definitely healthier than most breakfast bars. If you’re concerned about calories you can omit the chocolate chips or swap the coconut oil for applesauce (although that would change the flavour and texture somewhat!).

Looks so yummy!

They are…they’re also decadent but healthy for you too so you don’t have to feel guilty about eating them!

My kids do as well…I love to switch up breakfast options too. Anything with oats in it is always well-received!
