This has been a milestone year for Bites for Babies, with the publication of our cookbook Baby Bites, a growing food business, and a new position as a guest editor on the fabulous website Momtastic.
After reviewing my analytics for 2014 I was humbled (and not to mention, amazed!) at the amount of interaction the Blog received, with roughly 54,000 unique visitors to the Blog, over 118,000 pageviews, and visitors from all over the world, from South Africa and Malaysia to Germany and Russia.
I’m always curious as to what brings people to the Blog and through which social media platforms they find it. Of course, I’m also interested in which recipes most entice my readers. This is where Google Analytics comes in handy since they track every interaction that occurs on the Blog.
On that note, based on my year-end analytics, I’ve compiled a list of the readers’ favourites. Here are the top 10 recipes of 2014:

Chocolate Black Bean Avocado Pudding

I have to try that macaroni. It looks fantastic. I think it is something that would go over great in my house.
Great recipes! I want to try that macaroni!
I’m sure you would love the kid-friendly version but I modify the recipe for adults. Just cook the onions and pancetta, add the pasta to the pan with the pasta water, then throw the eggs right in and heat through until they are cooked! I prefer the pasta this way 😉
All these recipes look delicious! No wonder they’re top 10!
Looking forward to more recipes this year.
Thank you! I hope you try some of them 😉
It sounds like you had some great recipes in 2014! Thanks for sharing your top 10!
So many of these look wonderful. I haven’t actually ever cooked with dates. I have tasted them a few times and liked them … maybe I should try your brownies!
I actually don’t like raw dates (I prefer figs) but I love cooking with them!!
Omg all of these recipes look amazing!!!! I really need to add some of these to my thing I need to make list 😉
Those mini ham quiches look so delicious. I love quiche of all kinds.
These all do sound very good. I’d love to try the chickpea hummus.
I can see why you had so many hits to your blog. These pics and recipes are fantastic!
Thanks so much 😉
Those banana quinoa bites are calling my name. I’ve been on a kick with quinoa lately!
I make those cookies a few times a month…the kids love them! My husband (who is very traditional and pretty much anti-vegan) sneaks a few whenever I make them!
The mini quiches sound so good. I enjoy spinach quiche. The quinoa cookies sound awesome too!
Those all look so good.l I don’t know which to make first!
Those Mini Ham Spinach Quiches sound awesome. I definitley want to add those to my list of recipes to try.
These recipes look amazing! Especially the ham spinach quiches! They’re so cute and small! I’m not sure how the chocolate black bean avocado pudding is though… seems like a weird mixture but I think I might like it!
Thanks! The quiches are great to make with kids too because they can personalize them. I’m quite surprised that the black bean pudding made the list, lol! It’s actually really good, as long as you can get away from the fact that the texture IS a little different! This tastes like (healthy) chocolate pudding though 😉
The ham spinach quiches look yummy. Of course blueberry muffins are a must, always!
Those quiches were a but hit this year! I much prefer the baked goods…like the muffins!
The ham spinach quiche looks flat out amazing! I would have made that one number one.
They all look amazing!! My favorite would have to be the Chocolate Almond Larabars! Congrats on a great year of recipes and publishing your first book!
Thanks Jennifer! The cookbook was on my bucket list…didn’t think I would actually get to it, lol! As for the recipes, those are one of my faves too! I make homemade energy bars at least once a week! I’m surprised that a few of them didn’t make it to the list…my personal favourites are the lemon coconut ones 😉
They all look and sound delicious. x
These are all fantastic and I really love the variety!
I was actually quite surprised with the variety! Surprisingly, the recipes I THOUGHT were going to make the list didn’t and instead some of these really surprised me! 😉
I love larabars! So nice to meet you can’t wait to check out your site more!
You should try them! They’re so easy to make! Thanks for stopping by 😉
Lisa, congratulations! Those are awesome achievements in 2014! I am so happy for you! I checked out Momtastic and looked for your posts, felt so proud of you!!!

I love the recipes you post, i have made a couple of them and looking for more great 2015 recipes
Awesome! I’m always curious…which recipes have you tried?
Congratulations Lisa! I’m super excited to see where the next year will take you! xx
Thanks Monica! Me too! 😉
No wonder these were everyone’s favourites! They all look and sound so yummy. I remember many of these over the course of the year…my favourite is the Blueberry Mini muffins.
I was actually surprised that some of them made the list…and the ones I thought were going to make the list, didn’t! lol!
