I know Laur! You’re so right…she’s coming into this world the way SHE wants and I need to accept that. Not sure about delivering bum first though…;-( thanks for the support!

I went into the delivery with no expectations at all ~ except to go home in 3 days with a healthy vibrant child ~ that’s it ~ and guess what? I wasn’t disappointed 🙂 No matter how she comes into this world, what is important is holding her safely in your arms and being a family of four!!!! That being said, I would opt for the EVC and give it a shot ~ you don’t have anything to lose. Lastly, my Dad was delivered bum first in 1950 and my Nana survived 🙂 Love you to bits ~ see you friday xoxoxox

Thanks Monica! I literally had marks that looked like rug-burn because they were rubbing my back for so many hours! Lol! Believe it or not, I did crack a smile or two in between contractions!

Spinning babies is a great resource as Erin mentioned. Your first birth reminds me of my second. My husband squeezed my back through literally every single contraction. I love how your doula has a huge smile on her face – and I can’t help but think that her face does not reflect what you are going through in that photo! I’m sending turning vibes your way! xo – monica

You had to go to the hospital at 10cm?!!! I can’t even imagine!! For the record, I HAVE been doing cat/cow, inversions, downward dog (and I’ve checked out the that site!)…nothing seems to be working! I guess it’s better to know the situation then to be surprised last minute like you were! I still can’t believe…10cm!! Thanks for the feedback Erin 😉

So at 10cm dilated, we transferred to the hospital via ambulance. I was so disappointed when they told me we should go to the hospital, but everything came out great. Don’t know what I’d do with a breech baby – lot’s of downward dogs? Have you checked out the website spinningbabies.com? Good luck!
