This is the perfect family-friendly game to play with your loved ones! It suits all ages AND can be played EVERY single night. My family played this game for the very first time the other night. Oh yes, it was as much fun as they say!!
Players: Four players maximum (any more than four, play at your own risk!)
Player 1
Player 2
Player 3
Player 4
Rules:
1) Players 3 & 4 cannot wake up at the same time.
2) Player 3 can ONLY call for Player 2.
3) Player 1 must wear ear plugs (even if they aren’t effective!).
4) Players 3 & 4 must try to out-cry each other during the entire game.
Penalties:
1) If Player 3 calls for Player 2, Player 1 cannot attempt to intercede.
2) Player 1 CANNOT put a second pair of ear plugs in her ears.
3) Player 4 can ONLY fall back asleep while in Player 1 or Player 2’s arms.
How to Play:
9:30 p.m. Player 1 goes to bed. Player 2 does work on the computer.
1:00 a.m.-Player 3 wakes up screaming. Player 2 goes upstairs to settle him.
1:28 a.m.-Player 3 wakes up screaming again. Player 2 goes back upstairs to settle him.
1:45 a.m.-Player 3 is still awake…screaming. Player 1 (who has been awake the entire time) opens the bedroom door to find all the lights are out. She assumes Player 1 has gone to bed (downstairs in Player 4’s room) so she goes to settle Player 1.
2:15 a.m.– Repeat 1:45.
2:45 a.m.-Player 3 wakes up AGAIN. (Player 1 has given up hope for a good night’s sleep.) Player 2 puts Player 3 back to bed and lays down on the floor next to him until he falls asleep.
3:00 a.m.-Player 1 goes downstairs to eat a snack. She assumes Player 2 fell asleep so she leaves him in Player 3’s room then goes to bed in Player 4’s room.
3:45 a.m.- Player 2 wakes up. When he finds Player 1 in the bedroom downstairs he tells her to go to bed upstairs. (He goes to bed downstairs in Player 4’s room.)
4:00 a.m.-Player 4 wakes up. Player 2 rocks her, sings to her, holds her,etc…
4:45 a.m.-Player 3 wakes up AGAIN! (No one pays attention.)
4:45-6:45 a.m.-Player 1 is wide awake in bed trying to drown out (as you can hear everything through the paper-thin flooring) Player 2 shushing Player 4.
6:45 a.m.– Player 1 goes downstairs to take over for Player 2. Player 2 goes to bed upstairs.
7:15 a.m.– Player 4 falls asleep on Player 1’s chest.
7:30 a.m.– Player 3 wakes up (SMILING!). Player 1 puts Player 4 in her crib (she sleeps until 9:00).
10:45 a.m. Everyone is fast asleep in (their own) bed…EXCEPT for Player 1 (who is so over-tired and cannot fall back asleep for the life of her!).
How to Win:
Players 1 & 2 DO NOT have a fighting chance (but still get to play the game) because Players 3 & 4 will ALWAYS win!

OMG this was us last night!!!! Thankful we all slept in until 10am (which NEVER happens), this time change has us all out of whack :/
Just when you think everything is going great, THIS happens! lol! At least you know it’s from the time change…you’ll all be back to normal before you know it!
Feeling really lucky that there’s only 3 players at my house…although our cat wakes all the players up…on a regular, inconsistent basis!

That’s right, I forgot the dog! The grandparents had him that night…otherwise he probably would have woken us too by either having to go out for a pee, jumping on the bed, crying and whining for some reason or another…

ha ha! We played this for the first time the other night, too! Although Player 2 fell asleep before players 3,4 and 1!
