These cinnamon sugar tortilla crisps are the perfect combination of sweet, crunchy, and chewy. You won’t believe how addictive this simple and healthy snack is. Satisfy your sweet tooth, guilt-free with these baked tortilla crisps.
These are incredibly easy to make and require only 4 ingredients to prepare. Even better, they’re ready in 10 minutes, which means they can be prepared last-minute for dinner guests.
When I was younger, I had a mild love affair with Taco Bell, as most teenagers did, I’m sure. Who remembers cinnamon twists? Delicious, yes. Healthy, absolutely not.
Back then I didn’t have the knowledge that I do now about clean eating. Nowadays, fresh, quality ingredients take precedence in my kitchen, and even more so when I go out to eat. No more indulging in taste-good-but-are-so-bad-for-you-foods, especially when you can get the same delicious flavour by preparing them yourself.
My fridge and pantry are always filled with staple ingredients for quick, last-minute meals, such as tuna, avocado, pasta, legumes-and tortilla. They come in handy for quick lunches, whether they’re used for wraps, pinwheels, quesadillas, burritos, and more.
To date, I have a new-found love affair-with these cinnamon sugar tortilla crisps. In fact, I think that every time I buy tortillas from now on they will be reserved for this crispy snack.
This recipe was intended for the kids, a playful, not-so refined recipe that I’m sure they would enjoy. They devoured them. The few leftovers I had were served to my husband and my in-laws. The feedback was unanimous; these cinnamon sugar crisps are delicious!
Of course, we had to up the ante, and bring in the gelato. When in Rome…
Trust me when I tell you that these are delicious all on their own, but I’m sure you don’t need convincing that with gelato, they are absolutely heavenly!
I have another confession. I love cinnamon. However, if you find cinnamon a little overpowering for your taste buds, my suggestion is to reduce the quantity suggested in this recipe by half.

Wow that looks delicious. I love spaghetti squash. I know what you mean about exploding spaghetti squashes — I cooked one in my microwave and it exploded, blew the door open, and just missed my baby in the high chair! I had poked the skin, but don’t think I stabbed it deep enough. I had to get a new microwave – it was totally destroyed. So I always cut them in half now…
Oh man!! That could have been a bad situation! 😉
